Diversify Your Career Skills

This Masterclass Series – Title: Beyond the Courthouse is designed for every skill level of field and inhouse

It contains vital information for those chaining mineral title, performing title curative, and due

The days of “hanging out in the town square’s barber shop” to see if anyone could help you find
someone are over.

One common mistake made by most field landmen is not taking the time to format their reports
properly and make every effort to find current addresses, lost heirs and phone numbers.

Mineral owners do not pay property taxes on their mineral rights. Consequently, their current address
and phone numbers are not readily available in the records of the County Assessor. The field landman
is therefore required to be more diligent and creative when attempting to locate these owners.

Dear David,
Thank you for the truly informative course held last September.
I have completed my first year as an in-house landman for a petroleum company and can’t imagine how I could have achieved it without your excellent tutelage.
